Hi I'm Nicola!
The expectation, pressure, anxiety, and relentless pace led to multiple burnout periods, affecting both her health and her self worth. What once felt like ambition now felt unsustainable, and the questions that began with loss grew louder: "Why am I doing this? Is this really worth it?"
​
Alongside this inner reckoning, Nicola travelled extensively and lived abroad in Vancouver, gaining distance from the life she had known and, with it, a new perspective.
​
In 2022, she was unexpectedly let go from a corporate role. What followed was not panic, but clarity. The answer had arrived.
No, it wasn’t worth it. This is not the life I want to continue.
​
Nicola stepped away from corporate life, navigated an amicable divorce, and began rebuilding her relationship with ambition from the ground up. Through this process, she realised the problem was never ambition itself, but the narrow definition of success she had inherited. One that left little room for presence, health, relationships, or joy.
The Empowerment Pursuit was born from this realisation.

Today, Nicola supports entrepreneurs, digital nomads, travellers, and founders who feel driven yet depleted, successful yet craving space, ambitious yet wishing for a break.
Through coaching, mentorship, group programs, retreats, and community-led experiences, she helps people gain perspective, design intentional lives, and build sustainable success without sacrificing their freedom and aliveness.

Her work centres on helping people step back, see their lives more clearly, and make courageous, well-considered decisions that align with who they are and what truly matters to them.
Her philosophy is simple but powerful:

Now living a location-independent life and based between countries herself, Nicola is deeply passionate about creating spaces where ambitious people feel supported, challenged, and at home, wherever they are in the world.

The loss of Nicola’s father in 2017 was the catalyst. It cracked something open and reshaped how she saw life. It brought a sudden, undeniable awareness that life is unexpected, short for some, and deeply precious.

At the time, Nicola was still on the traditional path, university, corporate leadership roles, high-achievement culture, and a life that looked successful on paper. But something fundamental had shifted.
​
In the years that followed, as she continued to push forward inside that same model of success, the costs began to surface.

I'm an adrenaline junky with experiences such as sky diving, bungee jumps and white water rafting to name a few.

I grew up with 2 brothers and absolutely LOVE to tease and playfight with them.

I know firsthand how overwhelming relocating to a new city can be. The feelings of isolation, anxiety, and burnout often creep in as you juggle work and life, all while trying to establish new connections. I’ve felt the weight of expectations to excel at my job while also searching for deep friendships, which can lead to a sense of inadequacy and exhaustion. That's why I created The Empowerment Pursuit—to provide a safe space where you can openly share your experiences and emotions. I want you to know that you are not alone in this journey, and I’m here to empower you to rediscover your strength and purpose.
